African unity will be achieved through the economic, political, and societal stability of African nations. The future of Africans and their descendants in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and the Islands depends on African unity and strength. This unity will protect each nation from being mishandled by the international community. Our current lack of disunity, instability in all sectors of society, and cultural decline due to colonialism make us an easy target for all manner of evilness. Therefore the longevity of the continent and its children depends on the following factors.
Political stability is essential because each nation must fully control and influence its politics without interference from the international community and their interests. African countries are working for the Europeans, Arabs and Asian interests, and African nations are not truly independent when it comes to governance. The interest of others is a priority to their people due to being economic slaves to foreigners and being addicted and confined by international banks that don't serve African interests.
Economic stability is crucial because if you cannot control the production of your goods and services, you are not accessible in the international market. Raw and unrefined produce or goods are taken from Africa at a cheap rate, manufactured in developed nations, and sold back to us at high prices, making us their economic slave. Because we are not benefitting as the producers of these goods. We have to develop our manufacturing factories, machinery and skill set to maintain our industries and sell back to the international market at a price that favours us.
Societal stability comes from respecting your native roots, adopting what's good from a foreign culture, and discarding what doesn't align with your own African culture. Right now, we worship and practice the ways of our colonizers blindly without dissecting what is for us and what is against us. We need to be heavily conscious about our intake of other people's cultures and make our ways natural in our environment. Modernity doesn't mean becoming all things European it just means upgrading your current condition to better suit your values and humanity.
In conclusion, political, economic and societal stability is the way for African nations to lead to the continent's unity. We need to respect ourselves, our history, our cultures, languages, personhood, and overall humanity and sell it to the world as the best way to be. We cannot expect respect from others if we haven't respected ourselves.
